Creating Mavricks Nursery

Mavricks room has been such a fun project for me and I love turning my vision into a reality. It started eith just a couple photos saved off of Pintrest for the vibe and seeing the room completed now just makes me so happy and I'm so excited to share with you all the things that make up his room!

Reading corner

I found this chair on Amazon and fell in love with it. It fit the room perfectly. I also have the nightstand with the matching hardware here to hold the sound machine and plant (and coffee and water and other drinks I bring in to drink while rocking Mav). It will later be his Nightstand once he is in a bed. Also obsessed with the Posterstore photo above the chair and colors. It just fits the room so well. It was so tough to choose the photos as there were to many that fit the tone of the room.

Dresser/change table

I am a big fan of using a dresser as a change table rather than buying one separately. I also did this with Lincoln. I found this dresser on Mayfair and I am obsessed. I love using the Moses basket  from Harrpababy as a change pad. I love the natural colors of the basket and it's so functional. We then again added in the pictures from Posterstore to achieve the cutest little corner change station/dresser.

Crib

I found this crib super afforable from Walmart and it came super quick. I love the mix of the natural wood color and white to bring in the natural elements of the room. The crib mattress is from Fawcett Mattress. I love how its made from natural materials and passes the vibe check of the room! I also wanted a small cozy rug and found this one online on Wayfair. I wanted to still be able to see parts of the wood floor and the color of it blended so nice.

Plant corner

This may be one of my favorite places in the room. I am obsessed with the olive trees on Amazon and picked this one up on Prime days. I now have two and want them in every room. The basket to hold blanekst is from Ikea and the diaper pail is from Diaper Dekor. It keeps Mavricks dirty diapers contained as well as making sure that the smell is contained as well. The blinds were are a huge game changer. The faux linen is the perfect material for the room and they are from Twopages curtains.

Lighting

The very first thing I wanted for the room was this light from Ikea. I am obsessed with it and how it totally started the boho room vibe I wanted for Mavrick!

Overall I'm super happy with it! I am looking to eventually get Mavricks name above his crib but I haven't even had time to figure out what I want it to look like! Stay tuned!
